Because a chimney is built from small individual units — bricks, pots and lead flashing — problems rarely announce themselves until water has already found a way in. We inspect the full stack, not just the visible symptom, checking flaunching (the mortar fillet around the base of the pots), brick joints, DPC trays and the flashing skirt for signs of failure before recommending a repair.

Our repair work includes rebuilding damaged brickwork, repointing eroded mortar joints, replacing cracked or leaning pots, and renewing lead flashing and soakers where the chimney meets the roof covering — a common source of internal leaks that's often mistaken for a roofing fault elsewhere.
